Nearly a decade in the industry
Matched to your needs, not the job title
"Carl has been the best experience I have had with Labour Solution. Very happy with what Carl has provided, and continues to provide. Very refreshing to have someone in the industry as reputable, attentive and professional as Carl."

INDUSTRY OBSTACLES

A wrong hire at the wrong time doesn't just cost a fee. Instead, it costs you your office chasing tickets & inductions, your supervisor persisting with someone who can’t do the job, and your time on the phone to recruiters managing it all.

Can that carpenter work on a curtain-wall system, or are they better suited to timber-framed housing? Same Trade. Completely different role.
The wrong hire is more than expensive. It's an outright pain.
WHY SWIFT

We live in the built environment. This is how we work.

After nearly a decade in industry, we know the roles, the questions, and the outcomes you're actually after.
We ask what the job actually is
Not the title. The duties, the scope, the stage, how long it runs, and what good looks like to you. That conversation takes 5 minutes and saves you an entire week.
We don't wait for an ad to work
Most of the candidates our clients rave about weren't found by posting and praying. They were on a job, on decent money, or not looking for their next role just yet. We know where they are, and how to attract them to your role.
You get the same specialist recruiter the whole way
One recruiter from your first call to the last shift. Nobody hands you over, nobody re-briefs twice, and you hear it from us when something isn't right.
HOW IT WORKS

Four steps, one phone number.

No account manager out front, no handover, no chasing us for an update.
Scope
One call to define what the job actually is. The duties, the scope, the stage, how long it runs, and what good looks like to you.

Site factory or office
Straight feedback
Search
We work our network before the job boards, then question the fit under the job title. Has that Electrician run industrial automation, or only commercial fit-out?

Shortlists
We keep it simple with options you can use, always with a timely reply. A trade assistant is often sorted in a few hours, a licensed supervisor can take days. We tell you which.

Companies our team has recruited for

Nobody remembers the shortlist. They remember whether the candidate turned up, could do the job and stayed.

"If I could give him 10 stars I would. I needed a job, he had a job. I started the next day. What else do you need to know?"

  • How fast can you fill a role?

It depends on the role. For urgent requirements, or next day starts, give us a call to discuss. For most roles, we can usually have options across to you within 24-48hrs. What you get either way is a straight answer on timing at the start, and a call when something changes, rather than silence.

  • What makes Swift different from other recruiters?

We get clear on the work. The duties, the working environment, the experience required and what good looks like in your team. We establish that before we start putting people forward.

We look beyond applications. We search our network and approach people whose experience fits the work, including those who aren’t actively looking. We also ask what they want from their next role, so we can assess the fit from both sides.

You deal with the same specialist recruiter. From the first conversation through to placement and aftercare, you know who to call. We keep you updated and tell you when something needs attention.

  • How short can a job be?

For temporary staff, we typically work to a 1-2 week minimum. This ensures we can deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients & candidates. If you have an alternative need, please contact us to discuss.

  • How plugged in are you to the construction market?

Eight-plus years working construction, industrial and manufacturing specifically, not a generalist desk that also happens to do trades. We work the network before the job boards, so most placements come from people we already know and have placed before, not a cold search that starts from zero.

  • Will the job actually be what you told me it would be?

Before you start, we walk through the site, the stage of the job, and what you'll actually be doing, not just the ticket it sits under. If it doesn't match what we said on the phone, that's on us to sort out, not you to put up with.

  • Is this just labour hire, or can it turn into something permanent?

Depends on what you're after. We run temp, temp-to-perm and permanent placements side by side, and it's not unusual for someone we placed on a short job to still be with the same client twelve months later.

  • Will I be dealing with the same person the whole time?

One point of contact from the first call to the last shift, no handover to an account manager once you're placed. If something changes on site, you're not stuck chasing a call centre to find out.

  • What if I don't have every ticket yet?

Tell us what you've got and what you're working towards. We check the fit against what the job actually needs rather than just what's on the CV, and if you're close but not quite there we'll say so instead of sending you in short.
